You can still buy a house without downpayment, but should you?


It seems the government really doesn’t want Canadian borrowers to buy
homes without a down payment. Nevertheless, even in spite of the latest
changes, buyers can still purchase a home without enough cash in the
pocket.
In 2008 Ottawa has cancelled 100% financing insured by Canada
Mortgage and Housing Corporation. At that moment buyers with small
savings had only one alternative – cash-back down payment mortgages…
