We’ve seen the stock trading become unstable, following a surprisingly long period of tranquility. In addition to it, European markets also faced a pullback after the Bank of England pointed to a possibility of a rate hike in the nearest future.

The S&P/TSX composite index lost 265.03 points or 1.73% and stopped at 15,065.55.

Meanwhile, the loonie went down by 0.16 of a cent to 79.42 cents US.

According to Tom Martin from Globalt Investments, there was nothing special leading to such changes, just the on-going switch of investors’ mood from the previous fear of missing out amid growing market to concerns of losing much amid falling market.
