A particular financial interest was reported from Chinese investors, who focused on the Canadian real estate. Reacting to such a strong demand, an international property portal Juwai.com decided to cooperate with Chinese online retailer and Amazon competitor JD.com. As a result, real estate in Canada (also in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia) will be seen in JD’s customer base.

Juwai listings will appear on the JD online catalogue, so Chinese shoppers will be able to view Canadian homes as easy as they browse JD’s other offerings, e.g. clothes, watches, and gadgets.

The companies expect to unite Juwai’s current 2.2 million monthly users with JD’s audience of about 300 million. It’s interesting that JD specifically demanded Canadian property to be included into the listings, as wealthy Chinese are showing the strongest hunger for Canadian homes.
