The company says the spring market picked up in the last weeks of the first quarter after certain slowdown reported earlier.
“It looks like the slightest hint of spring was enough to attract more home-sellers who were passive during the winter,” – noted Mr. Soper. “Now we’re finally watching the new wave of housing inventory which corresponds to seasonal numbers. And with the increased demand following this long winter, we may expect quite a robust 2014 spring market. It’s good news for Canadian buyers, as house price hikes we’ve seen in some of the cities should be offset by this additional supply.”
