Less hold for your money, easier to understand mortgage penalties


The Canadian Government is planning to implement new protection measures
in order to help consumers get a stricter control of their own
finances.
Such changes are included into the Economic Action Plan 2011.

According to it, unsolicited credit card cheques will be banned. In addition to it, a cheque hold period will be reduced starting August 1, 2012. As a result, Canadians will get quicker access to their money…
