Though 2010 showed very positive trends, the volume of bankruptcies is still higher than during the pre-recession period.
In Ontario there was the biggest improvement last year: the total insolvencies fell by 16%. Among the main reasons manufacturing sector improvement is named.
It should be noted that mortgage brokers have different solution even for ex-bankrupts, though the rates and down payments can be higher.
