Edmonton showed the first gain in five months, and in case of Toronto it was the first increase in four months.

Price declines were shown in Winnipeg, Calgary, Ottawa-Gatineau, Quebec City, Montreal, Hamilton, Halifax and Victoria.

“Vancouver was the only one to reach a new high price level in December,”-Teranet-National Bank said.

“Toronto prices returned to their peak of August 2013. Meanwhile, Montreal and Quebec City showed respectively the sixth and fifth month without a gain.”
