How to get a credit report and correct mistakes in it?

If you’re planning to apply for a mortgage, it’s better to check your credit score and get the credit report in order to make sure all the information is correct.

There are two credit reporting agencies in Canada: Equifax and TransUnion. They don’t share the information, so it’s recommended to get annual reports from both of them.
