However, it seems that consumers should learn from the optimism of Canadian businesses.

The recent poll by EY shows a strong and optimistic outlook for 2020: 100% of executives predict improvement in the economy next year, and 81% don’t expect a slowdown even in spite of the talks in the media.

“Canadian executives feel optimistic, but they still consider growth possibilities very carefully”, – noted Doug Jenkinson from EY. “Unstable geopolitical situation and possible influences (trade conflicts, climate change-related policies and regulatory uncertainty) are restraining business plans in the nearest future”.
