Numerous polls of the previous few years show that real estate prices have been among the top issues for millennials. The tension is getting stronger as many youngsters believe that the Liberal government only worsened housing affordability for the demographic.

“I see certain vulnerabilities in the data I review,” – he said pointing to many millennials’ negative attitude towards the ruling party.

One of the most contested decisions by the Liberals is implementing stress testing. While the test cooled down the markets, Mortgage Professionals Canada president Paul Taylor says it’s time to ease the test.

“Many borrowers just can’t qualify because of the new rules”, – Taylor added.
