December 2011: 17,500 new jobs created, but unemployment rate is going up again


Last month Canada showed a slight employment increase following two
consecutive declines. In the same time, according to the recent jobs
report, the national economy seems to be struggling to achieve lift. The
Statistics Canada’s report suggests that the economy created 17,500
jobs in December.
