All in all, full-time employment was up by44,100 last month, and the part-time increase reached 8,000. The majority of these new jobs were created in the private sector.
Ontario and Manitoba showed the highest growth, while Saskatchewan turned out to be the only province with a decline.
The main group filling new positions was aged between 25 and 54.
