The average price for all housing types was $503,662 last month, which is 8.5% higher than a year ago.
TREB’s manager of market analysis Jason Mercer expects prices to keep on rising the next year, unless the economic situation in Canada faces major correction.
Another interesting fact from the report: the average detached home resale price in downtown Toronto area was up to $781,826, and the average condo resale cost rose to $377,422 last month.
