.Madam Justice Anne Molloy of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice said:
•    “She (the defendant) made a huge mistake by signing the documents she did not read and did not understand”.
•    “She made a mistake by relying on strangers this much”.
•    “She had the chance to tell the Bank the whole truth about the situation, but she didn’t”.
•    “It’s her fault. She is responsible for her own actions – not the bank”.
It seems there are still many accomplices ready to take money in exchange of using their name. The cases like this show us that it’s really dangerous to trust or co-sign for strangers.
