Canadian national Net Worth is growing along with debt level
Although Canadian citizens are becoming richer, they still seem to show troubling debts level, which increases their vulnerability against future inevitable rate hikes.
According to Statistics Canada, in the second quarter the national net worth was up by 3% to $7.3-trillion. On a per-capita basis it’s $207,300.
In case of Canadian families the household net worth rose by 0.7% to $205,900 on a per-capita basis. The main reason for such an increase was rising property value…
