TD, BMO and other lendersare following RBC in rising fixed rates.

Today TD Canada Trust and BMO followed the example of RBC in raising their mortgage rates. TD decided to raise its advertised 5-year fixed rate by 20 bps (0.20%) to 3.29% – just like RBC did.

This increase takes effect today, June 11. And as the experience shows, the majority of other banks will follow the trend today or tomorrow…
